Altered altoids tins tutorial

If you're like me you like tiny boxes of all kind. It starts in childhood when you collect tiny little treasures...my daughter is like me and has tons of little boxes, each with random little things in them!!... :-)

Melanie Muenchinger just came up with an awesome stamps set (oops, my bad, 2 stamps sets!!)designed to help you customize those little altoids tins! :-)
How cool is that?? :-D
She's sharing wonderful ideas and tutorials here: http://melaniemuenchinger.blogspot.com/2008/03/melanies-wristy-tin-tutorial.html
and here: http://melaniemuenchinger.blogspot.com/2008/03/what-do-you-treasure-peek-2.html.

I can already see (some of) the possibilities... little tootfairy boxes, treasure boxes (I had just bought some of those little tins (and smaller ones too) to make some of those a few months ago, but didn't get a chance to work on it...). I really like the "survival kit" also.
It's such a fun idea for so many different things, you can make a band-aid box like Melanie did ( http://melaniemuenchinger.blogspot.com/2008/01/love-aids.html ), or keep some medications handy for when a big bad cold hits, or some chocolate to give a friend, or whatever, really... :-) I think I'll make a lot of those in the fututre! (Now if only I had more time...)...

Those stamps will be released tonight, through Gina K.
