Hanukkah lever cards
Last week-end I did a workshop for an event at our synagogue. Those are the Hannukah cards I made as models.
I used SVGCuts files, (and yes it took me forever to prep everything, my Cricut was in a rebellious state of mind and I had a few issues..). I started with lever cards as a base, then used the "jewish elements" file.
I used glitter glue for the flames, if I hadn't been mass producing I would have used little rhinestones instead.
The great shiny foil I used for my candleholders, already mentioned on my blog before, is from Puff tissues boxes! :-) The menthol tissues come in a box that is silver coated inside. Almost makes you want to have a cold more often so you can scrap...

Birthday Boat lever card
It's been a while since I posted anything. Time flies and I can never seem to catch up... :-(
The awful proof is this card I made for my Dad's birthday which was almost 6 weeks ago.... :-S Yes, I know, it's a shame, but I do believe in good intentions and "better late than never" so I will send it anyway...
I used the lever cards files from SVGcuts, found some cool wood grain paper (boat and left of card), and made a little marine 8 knot to reinforce my theme. My Dad isn't especially into boats, but I love them, and since I live an ocean away from my parents it seemed kind of fitting... ;-)

Birthday pinwheel
This is the card I made for my daughter's 9th birthday. The card was belated (oops!) but she forgave me since it allowed me to get cool new svg files for lever cards... ;-) She was quite impressed with the mechanism... :-D
I went a little overboard with buttons but hey, it's for Naomi, and it didn't have to go in an envelope... ;-)
