Flower Power

This is one of my latest card which is also a very simple one and I like it especially because of the simplicity.

I have to say, so far on all the blogs and galleries I checked (like the splitcoaststamper's one), I tend to like the simple cards better. The ones that have a punch because of the color combination or special accents but I don't like too much when cards have tons of layers and embellishments and in the end you almost can't see the paper anymore!

Here I left the paper I used under the card so that you can see the pattern.
As my first experiments, I have been playing with patterned paper... it's fun, easy and the results are pretty cool!.... And also using paper punches which are really awesome little tools!.... The flowers are propped on double side foam tape...

Sure, to more "seasoned" scrapbookers, this can look like an amateur job, but I like it and hope other beginners will be inspired to play with paper too! (Yes, you can also do origami! ;-))
