One baby...so many words...

Another baby in the family, I'm telling you they're everywhere!... ;-)
I just had to use my Cuttlebug embossing folder "swiss dots" for that one since it really screams baby to me... :-) (and I really love polka dots and LOVE embossing!). When I started the card I knew I wanted the swiss dots and some vellum but that was about it in terms of what direction to take...
I played with a few ideas, but the words kept coming back. (They're from another Cuttlebug folder "friend words"and I cut them off the page). When I finally had this configuration I wasn't sure about it, so I walked away and went to pick up my son at school.
It's true what they say, when you're not sure, walk away. When you come back to your project things always seem more clear, whether you like it or not! ;-)
I took the pic partly in the sun, I know that's not something you're supposed to do but I like it, I like how it creates shadows... :-)
ETA: To answer Pam's question I first embossed my cardstock with the swiss dots folder, then ran my inker on it, after it was dry, I then cut the scalloped rectangle with the Nestabilities...

I think this is a really sweet baby card, I love the dots. And the shadows work on this with all the dimension. At least you have some sun to do this with!
